Somewhat warm, nutty and slightly woody-spicy scent of preserved and dried rather dark fruits with clearly spicy aromas, a hint of licorice and cocoa. Ripe, again dark fruit with cocoa-spicy wood, slightly sooty on the palate, present, crumbly sandy tannins, noticeable alcohol, some bite, mineral and dried herbaceous to tobacco notes in the background, clear gingerbread flavor, a little nut butter, good persistence, greasy nuances , some pepper, firm build, still a bit unapproachable, good to very good finish with bitter-tobacco and woody notes ..
