The estate is located in the wine-growing community of St. Michael Eppan on the Weinstrasse (Überetsch) in South-Tirol (Region Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy). The family has been cultivating wine and fruit growing for generations. The business is run by Thomas Niedermayr in the second generation. Father Rudolf Niedermayr is considered a pioneer in the cultivation of mushroom-resistant grape varieties and organic cultivation. The cultivated area covers three hectares at the southeast foot of the Gandberg at 520 meters above sea level. The vineyards with two hectares of vines on deep limestone gravel soil are on the southeast slope at the southern end of the Eppan Berg growing area. Out ecological Reasons have been preferred since the mid-1990s PIWI varieties planted. Today that's 95% of the stock.

There are the white varieties Pinot Blanc, Solaris, Bronner, Souvignier Gris and Muscaris, as well as the red varieties Cabernet Cortis, Cabernet Cantor and some of their own breeding selected varieties cultivated.
