A hint of leathery scent of black berries with a little herbs, pepper and leathery notes as well as restrained barrel tones. Clear, polished, tart dark fruit, crumbly, fine sandy, yet relatively present tannin, some bite, good persistence, a hint of smoke and nutty notes on the palate, leathery and peppery tones, hints of herbs, salty tones, cool style, certain elegance, very good, firm, tart finish with lean, again cool juice and herbal flavours. Still holds up very well.

Editor note: Earthy notes on the nose, light dried floral notes, ripe, partly preserved, predominantly black berries and cherries, light leathery notes, some licorice and undergrowth. Clear, tart, juicy cool fruit on the palate, light nutty and earthy aromas, peppery traces, light bite, very fine tannins, good persistence, fairly light-bodied, elegant style, salty notes and undergrowth in the background, very good cool, elegant, juicy finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Feiner, leicht säuerlicher Duft nach Kirschen und gemischten Beeren mit einem Hauch roten Paprikas, etwas Pfeffer, Tabak und moderaten holzigen Tönen. Klar, kühl und saftig im Mund, frisch wirkende Frucht mit Biss, ausgesprochen feines Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, leicht pflanzliche und pfeffrige Nuancen, harmonisch und sehr animierend, hocheleganter Stil, hat Kraft und Leichtigkeit zugleich, im Hintergrund Mineralik, noch jung, sehr guter, kühler und feinsaftiger Abgang mit feinem Biss. Ein Vergnügen.
