2003 Taurasi DOCG Bosco Faiano, Campania, Italy

Ripe, preserved, partly dried red berries and some cherries on the nose, partly dried plums, some sugar candy, lovage and provencale herbsm sweetish spicy oak. Fairly cool fruit on the palate, more herbs, slightly brittle oak, creamy, some dark caramel and chocolate, light acid bite, fairly fine tannins, not particularly deep, but quite persistent, good finish.
