2013 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Il Margone", Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat developed, slightly iodine, quite nutty-woody and a touch of roasted nose, partly preserved black and some red berries, earthy and hint of bacon, dried vegetal and earthy notes. Ripe, warm, partly preserved fruit, prominent, slightly roasted, nutty and chocolaty oak, prominent, slightly astringent tannins, substantial and persistent on the palate, warming alcohol, tobacco notes, some tar and licorice, very good, only a little bit more Dry finish with a little jammy juice.
