The "JB Becker" winery is located in the municipality of Walluf in the German wine-growing region Rheingau, It was founded in 1893 by Jean Baptist Becker. It has been run by his grandson Hans-Josef Becker together with his sister Maria since 1971. Hans-Josef Becker is one of the best known Weinkommissionären in Germany. The vineyards cover 13 hectares of vineyards in the Wallufer individual layers Berg-Bildstock, Oberberg and Walkenberg, 75% of them are planted with Riesling, Pinot Noir and Müller-Thurgau. The management has been carried out since the 2011 vintage according to certified rules of the Organic viticulture, According to the company's operating philosophy, “nature is trusted”. The wines are aged for a long time in the traditional large wooden barrel. The white wines are made after 12 hours pressed, with the vineyard's own yeast spontaneous fermented and matured for at least a year. The extremely dry Rieslings are very durable. At least ten vintages are always offered. All bottles have been used since the 2003 vintage glass corks locked.
