2010 Walluf Walkenberg Riesling Spätlese trocken Alte Reben, Rheingau, Germany

Deep, very mineral and slightly dried vegetal fragrance, partly dried citrus fruits, some quince and stone fruit with delicate herbal aromas. Fairly firm on the palate, elegant, juicy, restrained fruit with astringent dried vegetal and intense mineral notes, full-bodied and creamy, but also has cool elements, polished acidity, persistent, good depth, still youthful, relatively complex, very traditional style, best balance, shows clearly origin, very good to long finish with moderate fruit and tart vegetal aromas.
