1999 trocken Cuvée Jeanne JS, Ahr, Germany

Deep cherry to ruby red, almost to the rim. Very attractive sweet aromas of ripe cherries and red berries, with an elegant oak aroma. Full-bodied, juicy fruit, slightly dusty, tart but fully ripe tannin, quite a firm structure, spicy oak perfectly integrated on the palate, persistent aroma of cherries and red berries, excellent balance, good length. A classy wine.
