Cool, strongly roasted notes, aromas of black berries and plums with an animal note. Powerful and quite juicy, but currently strongly dominated by oak and by the dark, charred, roasted notes, tannins are ripe and evident, a bit dry, good persistence on the palate, lots of extract, roasted notes on the finish. Needs time.

Best to drink: 2003-2008. What our ratings mean
