Ruby to garnet red, much lighter on the rim. Cool nose with spicy oak, aromas of cherries, as well as red and black berries. Attractive juicy fruit with spicy oak evident, firm, quite fine-grained tannins, good structure, very powerful body with evident alcohol, quite rich, good persistence, yet lacking a bit more concentration in the fruit, spicy oak notes on the finish.
