Fairly tart nose, hint of bacon, ripe red and some black berries, earthy and dried vegetal notes, light nutty oak and tarry traces. Firm, ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, smoky, toasted oak, herbs and spices, tarry traces again, hint of cocoa in the background, fairly well integrated, fine sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, some depth, full body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, more fairly dark, preserved notes on a very good, juicy finish.
