2008 Wachau Ried Steinertal Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Cool nose, partly dried herbs, pomaceous fruit and citrus, fairly prominent mineral notes. Firm on the palate, very clear, slightly spicy fruit, prominent mineral notes, herbaceous notes, very elegant, lively acidity, creamy and very polished, has some depth, tart spice and elegant fruit on a very good finish.

Editor note: Ripe pomaceous fruit and citrus fruit on the nose, spicy vegetal and mineral notes, tobacco and herbaceous notes. Full-bodied and clear, elegant juicy fruit on the palate, creamy, extremely elegant acidity, lively and quite elegant spice, persistent, prominent mineral notes in the background, delicate stone fruit, has some depth, elegant spice, creamy and fruity on a very good finish.
