2002 VR Alentejano José de Sousa, Alentejo, Portugal

Forest berries with a light touch of dried herbs, roasted, spicy oak. Oak dominates on the palate, smoky and roasted notes, slightly astringent tannins, not a lot of substance, fruit rather hidden, attractive finish.
