2014 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Riserva, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm, delicate woody and earthy aroma of black berries with a hint of bacon and dried herbs. Clear, ripe, polished fruit, juicy and quite cool, integrated, slightly nutty, spicy oak, peppery and herbaceous notes, youthful, quite fine tannins, light acid bite, good persistence, hint of dark chocolate, quite firm, very good, dry juicy and some spicy oak finish.
