2007 Eitelsbach Karthäuserhofberg Riesling Auslese, Mosel, Germany

Somewhat developed, clearly foliate-floral and a hint of wilted floral nose with cool yellow fruit notes and a hint of green berries. Light-bodied and very sweet on the palate, vegetal notes, touch of sugar candy and beeswax, very tranquil fruit, elegant acidity, touched on a hint of wine, mineral notes in the background, fairly persistent, not particularly lively, good finish. Will continue, but has already lost tension and brilliance.

Editor note: Translate to English Präsenter, straffer Pfirsich-Apfelduft mit deutlicher Kräuterwürze. Schlank und feinsaftig im Mund, süße Frucht und wieder viel Kräuterwürze, sehr feine Säure, mineralisches Rückgrat, etwas sandiger Gerbstoff, gute Nachhaltigkeit, relativ feste Struktur, gewisse Tiefe, langer Abgang. Darf reifen.
