Clear, firm, deep nose, hint of tobacco and some spicy oak, ripe black berries, particularly blackberries and a touch of provencale herbs, cherries and mineral traces. Ripe, concentrated, fairly juicy dark fruit on the palate, spicy notes and some smoked bacon, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, full-bodied, has substance, persistent, salty and herbaceousm peppery traces, good depth, becomes more polished with aeration, hint of citrus zests on a very good firm, juicy, spicy finish.
