2005 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Riserva Mumelter, Alto Adige, Italy

Black berries on the nose, vegetal notes, smoky and slightly sooty notes, hint of old oak. Delicate juicy fruit on the palate, some more oak and light sooty notes, medium-fine, sandy and slightly astringent tannins, fairly persistent, vegetal as well as light floral notes, well balanced, not particularly deep, light oak on an attractive to goodfinish.
