Red currants and a hint of cassis on the nose, slightly spicy bell peppers, cedary notes. Polished, preserved red currant fruit on the palate, blackberries and some cassis, herbaceous and very light mineral notes, integrated, delicately spicy oak, tannins still fairly prominent, quite full-bodied, but not overly so, shows its origin, very slightly sharp on a good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2014+. What our ratings mean
