2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Riserva Mumelter, Alto Adige, Italy

Clear nose, partly preserved blackcurrants and some sour cherries, touch of dried vegetal notes, mineral traces. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, ripe but also slightly cool, partly preserved fruit, herbaceous notes, hint of licorice and some chocolate, very creamy with noticeable alcohol, fairly polished, even smooth style, not particularly deep, but meticulously made, noticeable alcohol again on a good to very good finish.
