2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC SelectArt "Gschleier" aus alten Reben, Alto Adige, Italy

Clear, developed, somewhat nutty aroma of ripe red berries with dried-floral to herbal notes, vegetal traces and a touch of leather. Matured, rather soft fruit, again nutty and herbal aromas, slightly dried-floral, some bite, crumbly tannin, some persistence and warmth, a little melting, warm, soft, developed fruit and nutty spice on the finish

Editor note: Quite a deep nose, partly preserved red berries and some plums, some almonds, mineral traces, light spicy oak. Concentrated and quite juicy on the palate, quite concentrated fruit, mature tannins, light spicy oak, creamy and quite firm, light mineral notes in the background, has some depth, still youthful, very good finish.

Editor note: Partly preserved ripe red berries and some plums on the nose, herbaceous notes. Youthful, relatively juiy fruit on the palate, slightly sweetish oak, touch of vanilla, fine sandy tannins, fairly creamy, attractive to good finish.
