Editor note: Clear, fairly prominent notes of partly candied citrus fruit on the nose, elderberries and pomaceous fruit, herbaceous notes. Juicy and quite full-bodied on the palate, ripe, sweetish and creamy fruit, elegant acidity, nutty traces, hint of oak, good substance and persistence, light mineral notes in the background, quite powerful but also very polished, has some depth, very good finish.

The northern area of the Italian double region Trentino-Alto Adige; is the southern area Trentino, The Italian name is Alto Adige. It corresponds geographically to the Autonomous Province of Bozen (Italian Bolzano). The Rhaeto-Romans laid here already 1000 BC. The first vineyards, making South Tyrol one of the oldest German-speaking wine-growing regions. Here the Romans of the Celts learned the use of wooden wine barrels for storage and transportation. In the Middle Ages, viticulture flourished. The German emperors, who moved to Rome for their coronation, got to know and appreciate South Tyrolean wine on their travels. A decline took place...
