Editor note: Firm nose, still slightly wild, prominent vegetal notes with some root vegetables, hint of bacon and iodine, dried flowers, herbs and bees wax, earthy notes, hint of capers and asparagus. Very sweet dried and candied fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal aromas, fairly lively acidity, slightly sandy tannins, hint of tobacco, earthy and salty notes, good substance and persistence, touch of iodine and bacon, very good finish.
Best to drink: 2018-2040+
