2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer, Alto Adige, Italy

Tart herbaceous nose, apple, lychee and citrus fruit, dried herbs and flowers, mineral traces, hint of bacon. Full-bodied and firm on the palate, fairly creamy fruit, elegant acidity, prominent herbs and spices, some dried flowers, noticeable bitter note typical of the variety, good persistence, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol on a good finish.
