Meaty nose, prominent oak, earthy notes, partly dried black berries, long pepper, balsamic notes, touch of licorice. Full-bodied and tart on the palate, dark fruit, oak, earthy notes, some dried root vegetables, touch of brittle tannins, fairly persistent, noticeable warm alcohol, light nutty notes in the background, some smoked bacon, hint of tobacco and cake spices, some depth, full-bodied, chocolate, more tobacco and smoke on a very good ripe finish.
