2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Amos, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly tart nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, citrus and some pomaceous fruit, hint of mushrooms and some root vegetables, very light nutty oak. Elegant, juicy, dry fruit on the palate, nutty and dried herbaceous notes, hint of tobacco, touch of bacon, artichokes and earthy traces, full-bodied, light tannic touch, floral notes and some dark berries, light salty notes, high alcohol, but this becomes well integrated with aeration, very good finish.

Editor note: Nutty, yeasty and light floral notes on the nose, restrained yellow and green fruit, hint of smoked bacon, buttery traces, fairly prominent mineral notes. Ripe, creamy, bone dry fruit on the palate, prominent lime aromas, light smoky oak, fairly elegant vegetal aromas, lively, elegant acidity, persistent, tannins still slightly rough, not particularly deep, still young, floral traces, noticeable warm alcohol, but retains a cool character, hint of mushrooms on a good to very good tart finish.
