2015 Mitterberg IGT passito Aruna, Alto Adige, Italy

Prominent dried flowers and vegetal notes on the nose, yellow spice and some tobacco, prominent candied nuts, delicate yeasty traces. Very sweet, dried and candied fruit on the palate, floral and vegetal notes, prominent yellow spice, elegant acidity, persistent and concentrated, some grip, good depth, cinnamon notes on a very good sweetish, spicy finish. Has improved once again in the past few months.

Editor note: Cool nose, light vegetal and floral notes, partly candied and dried yitrus fruit, some stone and pomaceous fruit, herbaceous and mineral traces. Clear, fairly polished and very sweet fruit on the palate, fairly prominent acidity, salty notes, touch of oak, smoky notes and a hint of tobacco, good persistence and substance, fairly firm structure, has bite, light tannic grip, earthy and nutty traces, still young, hint of bacon and floral traces on a very good firm finish
