2008 Vinschgau DOC Vernatsch Sonnenberg, Alto Adige, Italy

Red berries on the nose, nutty traces, very delicate spicy oak. Clear, elegant, juicy, red berry fruit on the palate, delicate oak, earthy and nutty notes, mature, fine, sandy tannins, some mineral notes in the background, fairly persistent, still has good contours, good to very good finish.

Editor note: Red berries on the nose, some almonds, spicy vegetal notes, light earthy notes. Clear, tranquil fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, mature tannins, more prominent earthy and light mineral notes, quite persistent, very slightly sweetish spice, fairly creamy, quite persistent, opens up and becomes more juicy with aeration, good finish.
