2011 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Mervin, Alto Adige, Italy

Translate to English Leicht entwickelter, deutlich holzwürziger, nussiger und vegetabiler Duft mit Aromen teils überreifer gelber Früchte, etwas Cassis, getrockneten Kräutern sowie erdigen Noten. Sehr reife, süßliche, teils kandiert und getrocknet wirkende Frucht im Mund, merkliches Holz und vegetabile Aromen, feine Säure, etwas antrocknender Gerbstoff, gute Nachhaltigkeit am Gaumen, viel Alkohol und Fett, im Hintergrund erdig-mineralische Töne, mächtiger Stil, wirkt schon leicht überzogen, wachsige Töne und ein Hauch Tabak, sehr guter Abgang. Nur für Anhänger dieses ausladenden, kraftstrotzenden Stils.

Editor note: Translate to English Etwas nussiger, eine Spur laktischer und deutlich vegetabiler Duft mach teils überreifem Kernobst mit erdigen, leicht getrocknet-kräuterigen, floralen und auch pfeffrigen Tönen. Kräftig und süßlich-schmelzig im Mund, wieder sehr reife Frucht und deutlich vegetabile Aromen, sehr feine Säure, etwas Mineralik im Hintergrund, florale Ansätze, gute Nachhaltigkeit und Substanz, eher weiche Art, sehr guter Abgang. Fast eine Spur überzogen und in Richtung Breite gehend.
