2008 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Riserva ANTICUS Baron Salvadori, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly mature tranquil nose, light vegetal and earthy notes, partly dried red berries and cassis, vegetal notes and bell peppers, moderate spicy oak, earthy notes. Ripe and fairly mature fruit on the palate, some more bell peppers, spicy oak, touch of cocoa, some alphabet biscuits and cloves, persistent and juicy, very full-bodied and creamy, some cool elements, hint of mixed pickles in the background, not particularly deep, good persistence, good finish.
