2010 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon "Mantele", Alto Adige, Italy

Vegetal nose, pomaceous fruit and citrus fruit, some avocado, green berries, hint of caraway, earthy notes, light lactic and volatile notes. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, but also slightly artificial, more light lactic and volatile notes, tart herbaceous notes, some juniper and caraway seed, earthy in the background, noticeable alcohol, slightly strenuous, fairly persistent, quite a good finish.
