Editor note: Fairly tart nose, hint of tobacco and long pepper, ripe, partly preserved black berries, some licorice and dried herbs, touch of dried meat. Ripe, partly preserved and dried dark fruit on the palate, hint of vanilla and some chocolate, slightly sandy tannins, full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, quite persistent, earthy notes, traces of dried meat again, burnt nuts, some more chocolate notes, slightly jammy on a good to very good finish.
Best to drink: Mid-2017-2024+
