Editor note: Earthy and dried vegetal notes on the nose, smoked bacon, black berries, tobacco and leathery animal traces. Full-bodied, partly preserved fruit on the palate, prominent toasted, spicy oak, some sugar candy, hint of tobacco, sweetish spicy notes, good persistence, high alcohol, fairly fine tannins, hint of bacon in the background, some burnt nuts and cocoa, not particularly deep, slightly jammy fruit and loads of oak on a good to very good alcoholic finish.
Best to drink: Late 2018-2023+
