2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Grigio "Punggl", Alto Adige, Italy

Prominent vegetal notes on the nose, light lactic and volatile notes, yellow fruit, easrthy and nutty notes, wilted flowers, hint of tobacc and pepper in the background. Ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, rather prominent, even hard acidity, dried vegetal and herbaceous aromas, some sweetish sugar candy, slightly sandy tannins, good persistence, floral traces, hint of dark berries, predominantly juniper, noticeable high alcohol, not particularly deep, very slightly sharp on a good finish with some sugar candy notes.
