2006 trocken Eisner, Burgenland, Austria

Partly candied black and red berries on the nose, earthy notes, roasted and sooty notes, unfortunately also some volatile notes. Ripe fruit on the palate, more earthy and roasted notes, medium-fine, partly astringent tannins, full-bodied and creamy, some more volatile notes, slightly rustic style, malted notes and brittle oak on the finish.
