2006 trocken Pinot Reserve, Burgenland, Austria

Partly preserved red berries on the nose, dried herbs and spices, hint of tobacco, light earthy, vegetal and mineral traces. Fairly lean on the palate, restrained fruit, vegetal notes and some old oak, slightly rough, sandy, astringent tannins, fairly persistent, earthy and mineral notes, slightly astringent on an otherwise good finish.
