2008 Kremstal Grüner Veltliner trocken Lauschenkreuz, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Partly candied apples and stone fruit on the nose, delicate herbs and spices, mineral notes. Compact, straightforward style, apple fruit and melon on the palate, hint of peaches in the background, peppery, mineral and herbaceous notes, becomes even more peppery with aeration, but not obtrusive, integrated acidity, has substance, persistent, clearly shows its origin, delicately bitter on a very good, long finish.
