2004 Topikos Oinos Epanomis/Τοπικός Οίνος Επανομής Sauvignon Blanc Fumé, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Yellow fruit on the nose, light smoky and spicy yeasty notes, gooseberries and green and yellow peppers. Medium-bodied, quite intense mandarin fruit, apples, orange zest and gooseberries, interesting and slightly exotic, ripe, well integrated acidity, light tannic notes on an attractive finish. An individualistic interpretation of the variety, partly influenced by the region, good partner for food.
