2004 Topikos Oinos Epanomis/Τοπικός Οίνος Επανομής Viognier, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Discreet, quite complete nose with crusts of white bread, dried figs, dried apples and some melon. Quite full-bodied, fresh and juicy, gripping fruit with some substance, the wine has structure and persistence, nicely balanced ripe acidity and a hint of mineral and herbal notes, quite complex, very good long finish. Shows the potential both of the variety and of the region.
