Berries on the nose, roasted and light peppery notes, chocolate and some herbaceous traces. More chocolate and some nutty notes on the palate, supple, compact, preserved berry fruit, delicate bitter and herbaceous notes in the background, some spicy oak, slightly astringent tannins, well made in a modern style, not particularly deep or individualistic, good finish. May still improve with maturation.

Best to drink: Bis 2012+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Dark berries and cherries on the nose, herbaceous notes, light peppery and smoky notes. Quite juicy and lively on the palate, clear fruit, roasted oak, fairly prominent, medium-fine tannins, fairly persistent, noticeable alcohol, some chocolate on a good finish.
