2004 Topikos Oinos Avdiron/Τοπικός Οίνος Αβδήρων Lagara, BIO, Thrace / Θράκη, Greece

Dried and preserved berries on the nose, smoky bacon, delicate hint of medicinal herbs. Cool, polished, slightly earthy red berry fruit on the palate, some juniper, pimento and licorice, fairly well integrated roasted notes, slightly bitter spicy notes in the background, medium tannins, slightly astringent on a good finish.
