2005 Topikos Oinos Avdiron/Τοπικός Οίνος Αβδήρων Avdiros, BIO, Thrace / Θράκη, Greece

Mature nose with light lactic notes, nougat, coffee, preserved and dried berries, roasted old oak. Quite mature again on the palate, rounded, partly dried and partly preserved red berry fruit, red fruit and herbs, slightly astringent tannins evenly distributed, quite elegant and already quite approachable, slightly astringent on an otherwise good finish. Much better than the first sample.
