2007 Barolo DOCG Tebavio, Piedmont, Italy

Already mature, slightly oxidative and clearly reminiscent of soup herbs, with earthy notes, some withered flowers and aromas of tarnished mixed berries and plums. Overripe, dried and malty fruit in the mouth, brittle oak with angular tannins, some acid bite, soup herbs, candy, caramel and malt on the palate, earthy notes, hot alcohol, not particularly deep, spicy notes, rustic style, attractive to good, Tart and drying finish. Works overdrawn.
