2013 Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC "Ernesto", Piedmont, Italy

Dried-floral, nutty, somewhat tobacco and herbal fragrance with red and black berry notes. Tart fruit with dried vegetal and floral aromas, a bit peppery spice and nutty tones, good sustainability, a little acid bite and fairly present, fine tannins, persistent on the palate, a little salty in the background, has life and still freshness, very good , firm finish with fine juice and spice. Great grignolino.
