2015 Barbera del Monferrato DOC "Giuanìn", Piedmont, Italy

Youthful, slightly sourish, a hint of bread-like scent of cherries and predominantly dark berries with earthy and vegetal aromas. Straightforward, partly preserved fruit on the palate, some vegetal notes, tobacco and nutty notes, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, fairly persistent, hint of cocoa in the background, some dark caramel, warm alcohol, sweetish and creamy, quite a good finish with spicy notes ,
