2014 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG La Lecciaia, Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat nutty and tobacco aroma of predominantly red berries and a little smoked red pepper with hints of dried herbs and mushroom nuances. Clear, firm, tangy fruit, slightly smoky and hints of bacon, moderate wood, dried herbs and a hint of black olives on the palate, light roasting, youthful tannin, some bite, some depth, very good, taut, tangy and spicy finish with hints of cocoa.
