2014 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly developed, slightly muted scent of red berries, some undergrowth and liquorice with tobacco and earthy notes. Ripe, somewhat spicy red fruit with crumbly-sandy, again somewhat covering tannin, earthy, nutty and slightly spicy tones, a little liquorice, some warmth and power, good persistence, tobacco nuances, good to very good finish with a hint of salt.
