2016 Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore Giulio Cesare, Piedmont, Italy

Firm, very slightly tobacco and spicy scent of cherries and more black than red berries with herbal nuances. Ripe, fairly firm, juicy fruit, nutty, herbaceous and slightly tobacco notes, moderate oak, youthful, fairly fine tannins and some acid bite, persistent, has power, greasy nuances, good to very good, juicy and slightly spicy finish.
