2004 D.O.Ca Rioja Reserva Viña Arana, La Rioja, Spain

Very slightly mature nose, dried herbs, cedar, mineral notes, partly dried red and black berries, plums, hint of dried orange zest, dried flowers, delicate hint of peanuts. Juicy on the palate, col, clear fruit, tart dried herbs, some tobacco, earthy and mineral notes, hint of citrus fruit, quite persistent, relatively fine tannins, cedary traces, good depth, very good finish.
