The estate is located in the town of Mainstockheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region Franconia, It was founded in 2005 by Brigitte Günzel-Stintzing (graduate geographer) and Olaf Stintzing (graduate oenologist). The vineyards cover almost three hectares of vineyards, with the white varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Blauer Silvaner, Grüner Veltliner, as Mixed sentence Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as St. Laurent are planted. Viticulture close to nature with gentle soil and vine care is practiced. Great value is on physiological maturity of grapes. The wines are produced in the Vineta (steel-aged, fruity wines), LandArt and Premium lines. The goal is creamy and long-lasting wines, including an obligatory one malolactic fermentation contributes. The wines are aged using traditional methods in large wooden barrels and sometimes in combination with steel tanks. The flagship of the house is "Erdrauch" (from the Premium line), a partly mash-fermented, barrel-aged Silvaner made from specially selected vines.
