2006 Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Col de Réy, Alto Adige, Italy

Tart nose, partly preserved and partly dried black berries, prominent vegetal and earthy notes, light animal notes, smoky and roasted notes. Tart and smoky again on the palate, very slightly dissolute partly overripe fruit, grilled jalapenosm persisten, fairly prominent, predominantly mature tannins, very full-bodied and creamy, but also has cool elements, compact, very good finish.

Best to drink: 2013-2017+. What our ratings mean
